About Elizabeth
Dr. Jorge Avila is the Assistant Director at UCLA’s Undergraduate Research Centers, where he leads programs that support underrepresented students in STEM research. With a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience/Psychology and postdoctoral work at Rutgers, he brings extensive experience in neuroscience, substance abuse research, and collaborative scientific projects. Dr. Avila has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at major conferences, and specializes in developing innovative research methodologies in neuroscience.
About Alex
Pranav Reddy is a Neuroscience and Biology double major at Johns Hopkins University whose biomedical and health sciences research earned a 2nd Place Grand Award at ISEF, alongside national STEM honors and peer-reviewed conference publications. He conducts research in neuroimmunology and neurological disease at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and has prior laboratory experience with the Brown University School of Public Health. He’s also a ScienceFair mentor.
