PhD student at the Argelander institute for Astronomy
Ana M. is a Ph.D. candidate at the Argelander Institute for Astronomy in Bonn, Germany. Her current work focuses on studying galaxy clusters via the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect using mm observations from the APEX telescope and the Planck satellite. Her main research area is the statistical analysis of galaxy clusters in order to determine the pressure profile of the hot plasma that is present between galaxies. Previously, Ana graduated from Padova University/Innsbruck University, where she carried her Master’s studies under the Erasmus Mundus (Astromundus) program. Her master's thesis focused on studying the clustering effect between galaxies using infrared observations from the Herschel Telescope.
