Dr. Christina J. is an empirical economist, holding a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a specialization in Labor Economics and Labor Econometrics, and a BA in Physics from Harvard College. She was most recently an Assistant Professor of Practice in Economics at NYU Shanghai, the first U.S.-Sino joint venture university operating in mainland China. Dr. Christina J.'s research interests lie at the intersection of Social Science and Data Science, with a particular focus on topics in Inequality, Economics of Gender and the Family, Discrimination, Labor Economics, Urban Economics, and Chinese Political Economy.
