Cory is a PhD candidate in the MIT Political Science Department. His dissertation studies how the legal system in the United States shapes business lobbying strategies; his other interests include the politics surrounding AI and automation. Originally from North Carolina, Cory received a JD from Yale Law School and a BA, summa cum laude, from Duke University, where he was a Benjamin N. Duke scholar. Before coming to MIT, Cory worked in large law firms on financial transactions. His work has appeared in the Texas Law Review and Yale Law Journal forum.
