Daniel K. is in the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. Dr. Daniel K. hold B.S. degrees in Biology and Psychology from Le Moyne College, Master of Arts, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Applied Social Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, and completed a NIMH Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Michigan. He uses evolutionary theory to advance understanding in a wide range of areas in human psychology and behavior, and also conducts collaborative and applied projects to help understand and improve community health. As part of this work, he has a keen involvement in the therapeutic use of cannabis and psychedelics, and has written over two hundred articles and book chapters in the peer-reviewed scientific literature.
