Lucy Baehren
Oxford's Former Admissions Officer
Lucy has extensive experience as a Lecturer and Director of Studies in Human Sciences at St Hugh’s College, Oxford. She managed admissions and taught courses in Human Sciences, Archaeology, and Anthropology. She earned her DPhil in Anthropology from Oxford with a Clarendon scholarship, winning awards like the Owen Aldis award and the best student presentation award. Lucy also served as Magdalen College MCR President. Before her DPhil, Lucy graduated with a first-class BA from Cambridge in Human Social and Political Science and an MSc with distinction in Primate Behaviour and Conservation from Liverpool John Moores University. Lucy offers insights into UK university applications and is committed to helping students develop skills for long-term success.
