Sarah Tierney brings over 24 years of experience as a college admissions consultant, having helped hundreds of students gain acceptance to Ivy League schools and other top universities including Stanford, MIT, Oxford, and Cambridge. She spent 16 years as a Harvard College alumni interviewer, working closely with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and also served as an Application Reader for Northwestern University. Since 2001, Sarah has consulted for admissions offices at institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Virginia, contributing to their recruitment strategies and admissions materials.
Laila holds an AB in Social Studies with an emphasis on post-colonial theory and history from Harvard University, and an MM from the New England Conservatory in Jazz Voice. While in college, she held leadership roles on the Undergraduate Council, the Arts & Humanities Student Board, and a variety of activist organizations, including the Harvard Graduate Student Union.
